Racers will get to enjoy some of our ‘gem’ trails in the Vasquez trail system and National Forest. Starting at the base of Winter Park Resort, this Winter Park Classics course is a racer favorite that takes riders through 21 miles of scenic trails with views of the Winter Park and Fraser Valley, finishing at the St. Louis Campground in Fraser. The Super Loop Revival XC Course is a new twist on a classic, starting at the base of Winter Park Resort and taking racers through lush forests, wildflower-filled meadows, and over pristine rivers. This course challenges all your senses with impressive ascents and a rewarding conclusion. Winter Park Classics is also bringing back Race Rendezvous for 2024, beginning near Mary’s Pond, riding through the unsurpassed Idlewild trails, and ending in Rendezvous. The Tipperary Classic (formerly King of the Rockies) has been the iconic mountain bike race in Winter Park for over three decades. The course begins in Fraser, following miles of amazing, scenic singletrack trails, and finishes at the Winter Park Resort base area. Inspired by the legendary Ron Kiefel’s Crooked Roubaix from a decade ago, Crooked Gravel builds on a tradition of exploration. Back when gravel bikes were still a novelty, Kiefel and his friends embarked on a 95-mile dirt-road adventure from Winter Park into the high mountains on road bikes. Fast forward to 2024, and gravel bikes have become a staple of adventure cycling.
Crooked Gravel High Mountain Gravel Bike courses offer an unparalleled experience, with our long route featuring over 5,000 feet of climbing and our short route perfect for beginners. Starting at an elevation of 8,600 feet, Crooked Gravel is a challenging but rewarding endeavor. If nothing worth doing is easy, then Crooked Gravel is certainly worth doing. Trestle Bike Park at Winter Park Resort has a long history of gravity racing, including well-attended races including Trestle Gravity Series, Big Mountain Enduro, Colorado Freeride Festival, and U.S.A.
